Fried sticky bean buns
Overview
My brother grows the millet himself, and after harvesting it is processed into rice, which is then washed, milled and made into dough, then stuffed with bean paste. The golden sticky bean buns come out of the pot, pure green, and they are called sticky! Excellent dipped in sugar or condensed milk. The rhythm of the New Year, the taste of the New Year in my hometown, Northeastern sticky bean buns, an indispensable delicacy on the dining table. I think of those years when it was fried or pan-fried, burnt on the outside and glutinous on the inside, smooth and sweet, making my mouth water! I can’t help but want to eat deep-fried sticky bean buns. Of course, I can’t really fry them in a pan. It’s not a healthy way to eat them, but I can use an air fryer to achieve it. The same fried taste, the same soft, glutinous and sweet texture, and the family affection and sweat from my brother. What you eat is sweet, and what you eat is happiness!
