Ingredients
Steps
-
Soak the red beans in twice as much water overnight
-
Double the amount of soaked red beans. Wash them and put them into the pressure cooker. Add water just enough to cover the red beans. Press for about ten minutes (after boiling over high heat, turn to medium-low heat)
-
The pressed red beans are very soft and there is no excess soup
-
Add white sugar, stir, and use a spatula to crush the red beans (if you like a more delicate texture, use a food processor to grind into a paste)
-
Add oil to a non-stick pan and add the mixed bean paste and stir-fry until the oil and bean paste are fully combined, then add the next oil, repeat this three times
-
Use a shovel to pat it lightly without bringing up excess bean paste, then turn off the heat
