Tea eggs
Overview
Allrecipe.com also mentions pickled eggs. Westerners call them dragon eggs, but we call them tea eggs. To clarify, the author is not hyping up tea eggs. Maybe they have many unhealthy factors, but I just made them myself. There is one thing. Don’t overdo anything. If you eat them occasionally, they won’t do much harm to your body. Guangzhou people have a saying: Eat less to taste more, but eat more to spoil your belly.

Ingredients
Steps
-
First put 1/2 teaspoon of Sichuan peppercorns, 1/2 teaspoon of cumin, and 1 star anise into a pot, add about 1/3 of the pot of water, and simmer over low heat to release the flavor;
-
While boiling the seasoning water, we can boil the white water eggs and crack them after they are boiled;
-
Put 1 tablespoon of tea leaves into the pot and reduce the heat to low;
-
Add 1/4 cup of light soy sauce, 2 teaspoons of salt and 1 teaspoon of sugar into the pot, stir a few times, add the eggs and bring the water to a boil over medium heat. Turn off the heat and let the eggs soak in the soup. The soup will seep through the cracks in the eggs, causing cracks and giving the eggs some flavor.
