Wash the eggs and put them into the pot, pour in water (it is better to just cover the eggs), take them out after they are cooked (boil the water for another 7-8 minutes), and gently break the egg skin with a spoon.

Put the cracked eggs back into the pot, add black tea, salt, soy sauce and thirteen spices, cook over low heat for 20 minutes, and turn off the heat.

Just continue soaking for a few hours. (The soaking time is determined by the saltiness of the water used to cook the eggs)
