Ingredients
Steps
-
Soak 100 grams of tri-color quinoa overnight in advance.
-
400g whole wheat flour, add 100g tri-color quinoa, 2 eggs, 5g yeast powder, 1 tsp sugar.
-
Use 200 grams of milk to knead into a soft and hard dough, cover with plastic wrap and let rise until doubled in size.
-
The risen dough will not collapse if you poke a hole with your finger (if it collapses, it means the dough has risen too much and the dough has lost its elasticity).
-
Knead into a smooth dough.
-
Chop the green onion, add 1 teaspoon of salt (or salt and pepper, if you don’t like salty taste, don’t add it), pour it with hot oil until fragrant, stir evenly and set aside.
-
Roll the dough into a thin and even thickness and spread the scallions evenly.
-
Roll up from one side and cut into equal portions.
-
Use your hands (or use chopsticks to assist) to roll it into the shape you like (or are good at).
-
Put it in the basket for the second time (if it feels light and fluffy in your hand, it is ready) (the specific time depends on the room temperature).
-
Timer the water to boil for 15-20 minutes (the time depends on the heat of your steamer), then simmer for 5 minutes.
