Delicious strawberry cake
Overview
This strawberry cake takes a little longer, but it is very delicious. The first time we made it, we both finished it in one day. Later, I made it several times for friends and they all liked it. I hope other foodies who see it can learn from it! Without further ado, let’s get to the point!

Ingredients
Steps
-
Material preparation: 250G butter, 250G+250G white sugar, 250G flour, 2 bags of vanilla essence (8G*2), 1 bag of baking powder (15G), 6 eggs, 1-1.5KG strawberries. (I am in Germany, so everything is in German, but you should probably be able to recognize it)
-
Prepare the baking pan as shown in the picture.
-
Wash the strawberries and cut them in half (I also used a vegetable here called Rhabarber, which is not available in China, so just use all strawberries)
-
Mix butter, flour, 250G white sugar, 2 eggs, and 4 egg yolks.
-
This is the egg white of 4 eggs, set aside for later use, but remember there must be no egg yolk in the egg white, and the bowl containing the egg white must also be clean and free of fat, otherwise it will not be beaten later.
-
Add vanilla extract
-
Add baking powder.
-
Mix well with an electric mixer.
-
This is the state after mixing evenly.
-
Pour into the prepared baking pan and spread evenly, trying not to have any holes or gaps on the edges.
-
Then I added the strawberries and Rhabarber I had prepared in advance. Put it in the oven and bake it at about 200 degrees Celsius for 20-30 minutes.
-
At this time, you can prepare the egg whites. Use an electric mixer to quickly stir the egg whites. After stirring, add another 250G of sugar. Be careful to add it little by little. Don't pour it all in at once.
-
This is the state of being sent away.
-
I baked it for 20 minutes and took it out and found that it was ready. It should be golden brown, but not too soft, otherwise the egg whites will sink.
-
Add egg whites and beat until foamy.
-
Apply evenly without leaving any gaps or holes.
-
Put it in the oven at 200 degrees Celsius for 10-15 minutes. I baked it for 15 minutes, and it was enough to puff up and be a little crispy. Like mine, it took a little longer, but it didn't affect the food, it just didn't look good.

Enjoy!
