Weight loss dish: bacon and snow peas
Overview
Snow peas are neutral in nature and sweet in taste. They have the effects of calming down qi, promoting urination, and relieving sores. They can benefit the spleen and stomach, produce body fluids and quench thirst, eliminate hiccups, stop diarrhea and dysentery, quench thirst and promote lactation. Regular consumption is effective in treating weak spleen and stomach, distension in the lower abdomen, vomiting and diarrhea, postpartum lactation, irritability, heat and thirst. Its seeds can be crushed into powder and applied externally to remove carbuncle. When eaten as porridge with glutinous rice and red dates, it has the effects of nourishing the spleen and stomach, helping to warm up and remove cold, promote body fluids and replenish deficiency, and strengthen muscles and body.
