Eight-inch no-bake strawberry mousse
Overview
I have wanted to make mousse cake for a long time, but I have always been afraid of failure and wasting things, so I have never tried it. On the first day of 2017, I finally mustered up the courage to make a strawberry mousse, wishing that every day in 2017 will be sweet and happy... I used biscuits as the base, no need to bake a cake, saving time. Friends who don't have an oven can also try it at home. It can be easily done with just an electric egg beater...

Ingredients
Steps
-
Cut the butter into cubes and melt it into a liquid state over hot water;
-
Beat the digestive biscuits with a mixer or put them in a plastic bag and crush them with a rolling pin;
-
Add melted butter to biscuit crumbs and stir evenly;
-
Pour into an eight-inch round-bottomed round mold, compact, and refrigerate for later use;
-
Put 400 grams of strawberries in a food processor and puree;
-
Add gelatine powder to the strawberry puree, heat over low heat (do not exceed 50 degrees, turn off the heat when the temperature reaches the temperature or keep it warm with water) and stir until the gelatin powder melts, let cool and set aside;
-
Whip the light cream and fine sugar until 5-6 points (the dripping lines will not disappear immediately when you lift the whisk);
-
Add the cooled strawberry jam and mix evenly with a whisk;
-
Take an appropriate amount of strawberries and cut them into pieces (the amount is up to your preference)
-
Take out the crumbled biscuits from the refrigerator and pour half of the whipped cream on top;
-
Sprinkle a layer of chopped strawberries;
-
Pour in the remaining whipped cream, smooth the surface, and refrigerate for 3-4 hours.
-
When removing the mold, use a hair dryer to blow it all around for a few seconds and you can easily release it! Just decorate the surface as you like.
