Purple Sweet Potato and Tremella Soup
Overview
I used the rice cooker to cook white fungus soup again. The porridge function was average, and the white fungus was not soft enough. I don’t know how effective the soup function was. I discovered for the first time that this rice cooker can also set the soup cooking time, so I added an extra hour to the default time to see what the effect would be. As is the old rule, meet in the early morning before dawn. The rice cooker is very diligent and starts the meal on time. The soup is not as thick as expected, but the white fungus seems to be much softer than the previous porridge. The purple sweet potato contributed almost all its color to the soup and white fungus, while it itself was almost completely faded. I was lazy and didn't peel the purple sweet potatoes. Although it didn't affect the eating, the feeling of biting the skin was really not good enough. In the future, it would be better to peel it. . . .
