Blanched Romaine Lettuce
Overview
This dish is priced at 58 in one of our local five-star hotels. We make it at home. It doesn’t get any simpler than this! Cost, well~~everyone knows it!

Ingredients required: Romaine lettuce, Thai pepper, garlic, light soy sauce, oyster sauce.

Boil the water, add a little salt and oil, add the lettuce and blanch it for half a minute.

Remove and cool quickly.

Spread each slice out onto a plate.

Chop Thai pepper and garlic into mince, add a little salt and put in a small bowl.

Drizzle in the smoking hot oil.

Add 1-2 tablespoons of light soy sauce (depending on the size of the lettuce and your own taste).

Half a spoon of oyster sauce.

Mix into a uniform sauce.

Pour over the lettuce and serve.
