It is also a famous snack in Nanjing~Red Bean Small Yuanxiao, and it is the delicacy in our memory~~~ The traditional way of making Red Bean Small Yuanxiao~ includes osmanthus and fermented rice wine, but because I am allergic to alcohol, I omitted it when I made it. I remember that when I was a child, I was weak and easy to get sick, and I often suffered from headaches and dizziness. My mother would often stew red beans, peanuts and red dates together, and let my sister and I drink a small bowl before going to bed to strengthen the body's nutritional supply. Because red beans and peanuts are foods that are not easy to cook. At that time, the national economy was poor, and there were no advanced gadgets such as pressure cookers on the market. I saw that my mother would always pack red beans and peanuts in an iron lunch box before going to work, and then take them to the big steamer in the workplace cafeteria to steam them, and then cook them again after she came back.
