Honey grapefruit tea
Overview
My husband doesn’t like eating fruit very much and finds it troublesome. But mixed drinks are still acceptable. Autumn is dry, and grapefruit is the best remedy for dryness. With honey, rock sugar, and grapefruit peel, you can have a cup of afternoon tea every day to replenish your vitamins and enjoy your time.

Ingredients
Steps
-
Materials: grapefruit, rock sugar, honey, sealed jar
-
Rub the grapefruit skin with salt
-
Then boil water to remove wax
-
Use a peeler to scrape off some of the peel.
-
Cut into thin strips
-
Soak in salt water for twenty minutes, drain and remove the bitter taste. You can soak it a few more times
-
While soaking the grapefruit peel, take out the meat
-
Put a small amount of water in the pot, cook the rock sugar and the drained grapefruit peel over high heat for five or six minutes
-
Put the grapefruit meat into the pot, bring to a boil over high heat, and simmer over medium-low heat for 40 minutes
-
Open the lid and check the amount of water, then turn the heat to high for 20 minutes to reduce the juice. When it is as thick as white fungus soup, turn off the heat and let it cool
-
Cold to warm, maybe 20 or 30 degrees, add honey
-
Mix well
-
Let cool and bottle
-
Let it cool completely, seal it and store it in the refrigerator for a week before soaking it in water and drinking it. The taste will be better if you keep it longer
-
Three bottles will last you a long time
