Homemade red bean paste
Overview
I originally planned to go to the supermarket to buy red bean paste buns, but when I got home, I found that I forgot to buy them. I happened to have red beans at home, so I made them myself. Homemade bean paste is safe and has no additives, so it is practical and reliable.

Ingredients
Steps
-
Wash 300g red adzuki beans twice and put them into the pressure cooker
-
Add 2 times the amount of water and soak it in advance. I soaked it at night and made it early in the morning. This way the beans will rot easily. After the pressure cooker is boiled, cook for 8 minutes
-
After boiling the pot, let the steam subside and let the pot cool down
-
After cooling, put it in a food processor and beat until thin. If you don't like it too fine, you can beat it once less. I made it fine and beat it twice to beat all the bean paste.
-
Weigh out the sugar. If you like it sweet, you can add more sugar. If you don’t like it, you can add less. I added 120 grams and it tastes good
-
Put peanut oil in the pot. My spoon is about 50 grams. I didn’t weigh it. Heat the oil and put the bean paste into the pot
-
Add a piece of sugar and stir constantly, otherwise it will become sticky
-
When the oil is heated and dries quickly, it will easily splash onto your hands. Please pay attention to your safety
-
Keep stirring until it feels thick but not greasy. If you like it dry, you can stir fry it again. I don't like it too dry, so this is fine
-
Take it out of the pot and let it cool before you use it, or you can eat it directly
