Pickled pepper chicken feet

Pickled pepper chicken feet

Overview

Three years ago, my husband went to Jiangxi on a business trip every month. When we came back for a few days, we went to the supermarket and our favorite was to buy pickled pepper chicken feet. Later, I don’t remember which website I saw a post on. There were many ingredients in it, which were different from the current pickled pepper chicken feet. The result was highly praised by my husband! At that time, I would make two kilograms every month as soon as he left, eagerly looking forward to his return. The satisfied look made me feel so happy! In fact, happiness is really simple and has nothing to do with money and status! In order to reward my husband for his hard work in making money, I do it every month. My husband also enjoyed the meal. After being transferred back half a year later, I haven't done anything since. In the past few years, I have eaten a lot of food made by other people, and they all tasted oily, or smelled like chicken feces, or had the smell of chicken feet themselves. I didn’t like it very much. In the past few days, friends in the group have been asking me how to make it. After talking a lot, they became interested again. I bought it and made it today. I sent a message to my husband saying that I would make chicken feet for him to eat. He was very happy and came home much faster. Haha, he even kissed me twice when he got home! He said it was an encouragement to me, and it looks like I will make more for him in the future!

  5. Bring to a boil, turn down the heat and simmer for fifteen minutes. (If it tastes chewy, cook it for a longer time. If it tastes chewy, you don’t need to cook it for so long.)

  6. Don't rush to take it out after turning off the heat. Let it soak for twenty minutes or more to make it more delicious.

  7. Then pick out the chicken feet and rinse them. This step is very important. Rinsing can remove some grease. It's very refreshing afterward.

  8. Drain the water, put it back into the pot, chop the celery, onions and pickled peppers

  9. I used to put cold boiling water over the chicken feet and add pickled peppers, so it would take more than ten days for the chicken to start to taste. Now that my husband is urging me, I will add pickled peppers and pickled pepper water, then a little cold water, then salt and vinegar.

  10. I added two packs of pickled peppers. Mix them well.
