Ingredients
Steps
-
Cut and core the dates.
-
Rinse the pitted red dates with water.
-
Put the red dates into the pot, add half the amount of water, bring to a boil over high heat and then reduce to low heat.
-
Press slowly with a spoon to allow the dried red dates to fully absorb the water, and the red dates can also be crushed into date paste with the help of a spoon.
-
Turn off the heat when the water is almost absorbed.
-
Prepare a sieve and use a spoon to slowly crush the cooked red dates into jujube puree. The sifted jujube paste tastes very delicate.
-
Let the jujube paste stand for a while. If no water comes out, it means it is thick enough. If you see a small amount of water dissolving out, you can pour it into a non-stick pan and stir-fry over low heat until the jujube paste becomes thicker.
