Steps

  1. First, separate the egg white and egg yolk. We only need the egg white. Add a few drops of lemon juice or white vinegar to the egg white. Add the fine sugar in three batches. Beat with an electric egg beater.

  2. When adding sugar for the last time, add cornstarch at the same time and beat the meringue until it reaches a stiff peak with straight peaks.

  3. Use a spatula to make two portions of meringue into two hilly shapes (if you have a piping bag at home, the shape will look better), and the final surface will be smooth. It's ready to go in the oven. Bake in the oven at 120 degrees for 30 minutes. Once the surface is colored, it is ready to serve. The specific temperature and time will be adjusted according to the conditions of each oven.
