Glutinous rice cake
Overview
Glutinous rice and red dates are good partners. The glutinous rice is soft and glutinous, and the red dates are sweet. You don’t have to worry about spitting out the pits when eating the red dates, so you can take a big bite with confidence. I borrowed the recipe of rice cake for this glutinous rice cake, because I have glutinous rice at home, so I have to learn how to use it. People who love food will always think of various ways to try it.

Steps
-
After washing the glutinous rice, place kitchen paper on a baking sheet to absorb the moisture from the glutinous rice.
-
Use a food processor to grind into coarse powder.
-
After washing the red dates, boil them for a few minutes, drain and set aside. My dates are too dry. You can squeeze the dates until they are soft and boil them for 2 minutes.
-
Pour the beaten glutinous rice flour into a basin and prepare a cup of water.
-
Pour water into the glutinous rice flour to make it moist. Because it is in a coarse granular shape, it will not form lumps. Be still for a while.
-
Cut the red dates into pieces and remove the core.
-
The inner wall of the mousse ring is oily and anti-stick.
-
Cover the grate of the steamer with a cage cloth and first spread a layer of glutinous rice flour.
-
Spread another layer of chopped red dates.
-
Then spread a layer of glutinous rice flour and a layer of red dates.
-
Then spread one layer each until it is full. Glutinous rice is relatively sticky, so I didn’t press it when spreading the glutinous rice flour.

Start the timer after the fire is on the steam, turn off the heat after 30 minutes, and simmer for 5 minutes before opening the pot. (10 minutes for high fire + 20 minutes for medium fire)
