Cheesy mashed potatoes
Overview
My son had his teeth braced two days ago. It was so painful (it was self-inflicted). He could only eat porridge, and he kept complaining that he wasn’t full. He kept asking me what he could eat that would fill his stomach without biting. In my mind, the only thing was cheese mashed potatoes! The cheese mashed potatoes tastes rich and creamy, not too watery, but not dry either. It is crunchy, soft and smooth, no worse than takeout! The son said: It’s delicious. I’m finally full!

Ingredients
Steps
-
Prepare materials
-
Peel the potatoes and cut into small pieces, and chop the cheese slices
-
Heat the pan and add butter
-
After the butter melts, add the potato pieces and cook for a while
-
Add an appropriate amount of water (the water level is about 2CM above the potatoes)
-
Add the salt, sugar and chicken powder in the seasoning (just a little salt and sugar is enough, because the cheese is salty)
-
Cover and simmer over low heat
-
Boil the potatoes until slightly soft
-
Add grated cheese
-
Boil the grated cheese until it melts, and mash the uncooked mashed potatoes with a spoon
-
When the water is gone and a bit dry, add pepper
-
Turn off the heat and continue stirring. A lot of the water in the mashed potatoes will evaporate and it will form a ball and you can eat it
