Wash and drain the tofu

Cut into 1cm thick square slices

Coat both sides of the tofu slices with dry starch

Gently shake off excess starch

Pour salad oil into the wok and heat until 80% hot

Fry the tofu slices on one side

Flip and fry the other side
-
Fry on both sides until golden and take out

Boil tomato paste with water and sugar.

Pour the cooked tomato sauce over the tofu
