Pour the water and sugar into a small pot and bring to a boil, stir until melted, turn off the heat and let cool and set aside

Beat the eggs and add honey and condensed milk.

Mix well and add corn oil.

Mix again and sift in the flour and baking soda mixture.

After continuing to mix well, add the cooled sugar water in three batches.

Cover the mixed batter with a plastic wrap and let it rest at room temperature for 45 minutes.

Coat the mold with a layer of butter to prevent sticking, then pour in the rested batter until it is about 7 minutes full.

Preheat the oven to 200 degrees and bake for about 25-30 minutes until the cake puffs up and takes on a caramel color. Unmold the cake after it has cooled. After cooling completely, cut the cake from the middle and lower layers to see the honeycomb structure. (Honeycomb cake is divided into two layers, the upper layer is a soft cake structure, and the lower layer is a clear and tight honeycomb.)
