Hormel Bacon Rose

Hormel Bacon Rose

Overview

Mother's Day, a day to thank mothers. Mother's Day first appeared in ancient Greece. Modern Mother's Day was initiated by Anna Jarvis in the United States and is held on the second Sunday of May each year. In December 2006, the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference Emblem Culture Committee and other organizations designated the second day of April in the lunar calendar, the day when Mencius was born, as Chinese Mother's Day. Carnation is the symbol of Mother's Day in the United States. Due to its great influence, it has become the symbol of Mother's Day around the world. But I think that no matter what day, no matter what flowers, and no matter what gifts, it is difficult to repay a mother's deep and delicate love for her children. Today I specially made this bacon rose dish using Hormel’s classic American bacon and classic lean bacon, and paired it with the lettuce grown on the balcony, like a bouquet of blooming roses, to express my deep love for my mother. Hormel's Classic American Bacon is made from the fat and lean pork belly of pigs, while Classic Refined Bacon is made from pork legs. The rose flowers made from the two are not only beautiful, easy to shape, but also fragrant and non-greasy. I made 11 bouquets, which means mom, I will love you forever!
