Toasted Mushroom Chicken Pie
Overview
Is this a pie? Tart? Or what? After thinking about it, I still understand it as pie. When I saw the combination of chicken and toast, I immediately became interested. However, although there is chicken, it does not come with such colorful toppings. After thinking about the ingredients at hand, it seemed that I could use carrots, mushrooms, and green onions to add some color. I changed the method slightly, although I had another idea in my mind, but this time I still followed this version, except that instead of dicing the chicken, I pureed it so that it might taste a little smoother. The carrots are also grated into a puree, so that they no longer have a crispy and hard grainy texture, but at the same time they lose the little bits of red color and blend with the chicken puree. The shiitake mushrooms were originally soft, but that was okay. When frying, I couldn't help but want to brown all the exposed sides of the toast. Although it is not troublesome, it requires speed. If you don't pay attention, the color will become darker. It is burnt but not burnt, and it is quite fragrant. However, the effect of chicken puree does not seem to be as good as the colorful particles.
