-
Separate egg yolks from egg whites. Be careful not to break the yolks.
-
Put the egg whites into a water-free and oil-free container. (This egg white is very important. As long as you mix in egg yolk, water, or oil, it will not be beaten. Also, if you don’t have an egg beater, you can add a few drops of lemon juice or vinegar and put it in the refrigerator to make the frosting better.)
-
Pour the yogurt into the egg yolk, add vegetable oil, 10g of powdered sugar, sift in the low-gluten flour, and stir until it is grain-free and set aside.
-
Add water to the steamer and start boiling. While boiling water, beat egg whites. Beat the egg whites three times. When the first time it forms big bubbles, add 10g powdered sugar and continue beating; when the second time it forms fine bubbles, add 10g powdered sugar and continue beating.
-
When the egg whites are beaten into wet foam, add 10g of powdered sugar at the end, and then beat into hard foam. As the name suggests, there is no resistance when pushing the egg whites.
-
Fold the beaten egg whites into the batter in three batches. During the mixing process, use a stir-fry method and do not make a round shape. (I added a few raisins to the batter. If you like it, you can also try it. It tastes good).
-
Put the mixed batter into a container, shake it to knock out the air bubbles inside, cover it with plastic wrap, and put it into a boiling steamer. Make sure the water is boiling. What I want to say here is that because the cake will be fluffy, it is best to use a larger container instead of a small one like me. It can be a cake tin or a glass bowl.
-
Steam in the pot for half an hour. Do not lift the pot immediately after turning off the heat. Wait 1-2 minutes. This is the result of using a small container. But it feels cute.
-
Take it out of the mold after 1-2 minutes and let it cool.
-
It tastes better without burning your mouth. If you haven't finished eating, put it in the microwave for a minute to make it taste even better!
