Wash the red beans one night in advance and soak them in appropriate amount of water;

The next day, drain the soaked red beans, put them into the rice cooker, then add about 1cm of water that covers the red beans, and use the normal cooking function to start cooking the red beans;

After boiling for the first time, take out the rice cooker inner pot and drain the water from the red beans. After washing the red beans, repeat steps 2 and 3;

Put the red beans washed for the second time back into the inner pot of the rice cooker, add 3~5cm of water that covers the red beans, and select the rice cooking function;

After boiling, continue to cook for 5 to 8 minutes, until the red beans can be easily crushed into a puree by hand;

At this time, there is not much water in the pot. Add appropriate amount of sugar while it is hot and mix well; I usually add 50~70g of sugar to 100g of beans in a ratio of 2:1;

After mixing well, put the red beans into a container, let cool and refrigerate overnight before use.
