Ingredients
Steps
-
Two eggs
-
Add caster sugar
-
Beat it lightly with egg beaters, no need to beat
-
Then add milk and continue mixing evenly
-
Then sift and add low-gluten flour
-
Continue to mix gently with egg beater
-
Add melted butter
-
A pinch of salt
-
Sift the evenly mixed batter once and it will be more delicate
-
Cover the sifted batter with plastic wrap and refrigerate for one hour
-
Take out the refrigerated batter and fry the dough in a pan. I like to fry only one side so that the finished product tastes softer
-
Because I want to make gradient colors, I fry three sheets of each color, adding a little red velvet solution each time to make the color gradually darker and redder
-
Use a six-inch mousse ring to trim the edges of the fried dough
-
Whip whipping cream➕caster sugar➕vanilla extract until evenly distributed
-
Then you can assemble the cake, color from dark to light
-
Put a little whipped cream
-
Smooth it out with a spatula
-
Then cover with the second layer
-
In this order, spread the entire cake. I spread the remaining whipped cream on the surface and sides. I did not completely cover the sides, forming a natural gradient pattern
-
Finally, add the decoration and it’s done
