Saury braised in soy sauce
Overview
I have always liked the aroma of saury. I usually brush it with seafood sauce when grilling. It is especially delicious. Inspired by barbecue, braised saury with seafood sauce is perfect!

Steps
-
Prepare ingredients, cut saury into sections, onions and green peppers into cubes. Mix hoisin sauce and soy sauce with water to make a sauce and set aside. If you like a sweet taste, you can add a little sugar to the sauce. (The small bowl of tomatoes in the middle is used for other dishes, so we ran in and took a photo together!)
-
Add oil to the pan. When it is slightly hot, add saury 1 and fry over low heat. When the fish turns slightly white, turn over and fry on the other side. Don't fry the fish too much, as this will affect the fish's tender texture. 2. Add garlic and dried chili pepper and fry together (beat the garlic into pieces beforehand)
-
After the fish is fried, add onions and green peppers and place them in the free space of the pan. In order to prevent the fish skin from falling off, try not to press or touch the fish
-
After adding onions and green peppers, immediately add the prepared sauce
-
Add the sauce and pour over the dishes
-
Cover the pot and simmer for 7 minutes, shaking the pan occasionally to prevent it from burning.
-
After cooking for 3 minutes, you can use chopsticks to turn the saury over for easier flavor.

Freshly baked! Is it full of color, fragrance and taste? (There is no need to put it on a separate plate. The pan can be used directly as the plate. It’s so convenient, beautiful and domineering! 😀)
