Kumquat Maotai Sugar Cane Water
Overview
My friends grew sugar cane and kumquats and boiled the sugar cane water. It is sweet and sour, refreshing and moisturizing, and children love to drink it.

Ingredients
Steps
-
Soak and wash the grass roots. (Fresh grass roots are better.)
-
Cut the sugar cane joints with a knife and scrub them clean.
-
Chop into small pieces, then into small strips.
-
Wash the kumquats and cut them in half. (The seeds are said to have the effect of relieving coughs and reducing phlegm, so I didn’t remove them.)
-
Put all the ingredients into a soup pot, add an appropriate amount of water, and bring to a boil over high heat.
-
Turn to low heat and simmer for 30-40 minutes, then turn off the heat and simmer for 30 minutes.
-
It's ready to drink.
-
Sweet, sour and appetizing.
