Ingredients
Steps
-
Get the yeast ready. I use this individually packaged one. Generally, a small package can make steamed buns twice. This way, there will be no problem of yeast failure after being left for a long time.
-
Prepare flour
-
Activate the yeast with warm water and divide. Put a little sugar. Pour into flour and mix well. As shown in the picture.
-
Wait until it ferments until it is pressed with your fingers and it will not spring back immediately, and the dough will look like a honeycomb when you pull it apart. Indicates fermentation is complete.
-
Peel the ham sausage. Then sprinkle the cutting board with a little flour and deflate the dough.
-
Add a little flour to keep your hands moist.
-
I forgot to take the picture of the dough deflating. After the air is exhausted, it can be formed.
-
Roll the dough into a strip and wrap it around the ham sausage. Wait for the second fermentation.
-
Steam over high heat. After the water boils, the steamed buns will be ready in about 15-20 minutes. Turn off the heat and do not open the lid immediately after steaming. Wait for about five minutes before opening again, so that the steamed buns will not shrink.
-
Okay. The sweet and delicious steamed buns are ready.
-
You can dip the steamed buns into condensed milk and eat them, they taste great!
