Lemon Honey Onion Broken Back Chicken Wings
Overview
I believe that in addition to the various formats of canned food and instant noodles, the emergency food in the homes of busy urbanites will definitely not be missing the following ingredient - chicken wings. The reasons for the popularity of chicken wings are simple. Firstly, the meat is smooth and tender (if anyone can cook chicken wings so that they taste like wood chips like chicken breasts, please bear with me), and secondly, there are various ways to cook them (off topic: How many people can actually taste the taste of Coke from Coke chicken wings?) Today I would like to introduce a simple and quick (completed within 20 minutes) chicken wing dish to office workers.

Steps
-
First let's review the material.
-
Let's deal with the chicken wings. Use a knife/scissors to cut the chicken wings into two parts along the middle of the two bones.
-
Then add a little salt, black pepper, soy sauce and cornstarch and marinate for 5 minutes.
-
On the other side, let’s deal with the ingredients. First, melt the honey with half a cup of water.
-
Cut the onion into thick strips, remembering to peel off any onions that are stuck together with your hands.
-
Peel off the outermost yellow lemon peel from half a lemon and set aside.
-
Heat the pot over medium heat and pour in 2 drops of oil, purely as a primer.
-
Lay the chicken wings flat in the pan, remembering to turn the chicken skin side down to force out the oil.
-
Fry all 3 sides of the chicken wings until golden brown, then remove.
-
Then add shredded onions into the pot (don't wash the pot), stir-fry until softened and take out.
-
Pour the honey water into the pot, add a little salt, and squeeze in the juice of half a lemon.
-
Keep stirring until the water gradually dries up and large bubbles begin to appear on the water surface.
-
Add onions and chicken wings.
-
Bring to medium-high heat and stir-fry constantly.
-
Until the water has completely dried up and the juice can hang on the chicken wings, add most of the lemon peel and stir-fry a few times before serving.
-
Finally sprinkle with remaining lemon zest for garnish.
