Steps
-
Prepare the ingredients and weigh the required ingredients.
-
Prepare two clean, oil-free and water-free containers to separate the egg whites and egg yolks
-
Separated egg yolk
-
Start beating the egg whites: Add 60 grams of sugar into the beaten egg whites in three batches, and finally beat the egg whites to a wet foamy state. (After lifting the whisk, the egg whites pull out curved sharp corners)
-
Mix the egg yolks and caster sugar and beat with a whisk. Add corn oil (any flavorless vegetable oil will work) in two batches. Beat each time with a whisk until evenly mixed before adding the next time. After adding corn oil, the egg yolk is still thick. Add or milk and mix gently.
-
Mix the low-gluten flour and baking powder, sift into the egg yolks, and mix evenly with a rubber spatula to form an egg yolk batter.
-
First put 1/3 of the egg whites into the egg yolk bowl and mix evenly (mix from the bottom up).
-
Then add the remaining egg whites to the egg yolks and mix evenly. (Stir from the bottom up)
-
Pour the batter into a baking pan lined with greaseproof paper, smooth it out, and shake it vigorously a few times to release the large air bubbles inside the batter. Oven at 150 degrees for 15 minutes.
-
Prepare a new piece of parchment paper, pour the cake on top, and tear off the parchment paper on the cake while it is hot. After the cake has cooled slightly, turn the cake over so that the surface is facing up again. Spread a layer of salad dressing on the surface of the cake and sprinkle the meat floss all over the surface of the cake. Finally, roll up the cake roll and wrap it with oil paper, let it rest for a few minutes, and then slice it.
