Overview

I accidentally discovered that the loquat tree in my orchard had produced a lot of fruits. I picked one and ate it in my mouth, making my whole body tremble with sourness. I didn’t want to waste it, so I used it to make jam.

Steps

  1. Wash the loquats, add water and boil for about 5 minutes. When the water temperature is about 50℃, turn off the heat. This way it is easier to peel off the skin

  3. Add sugar to the pot and cook while stirring. No need to add water.

  4. After 20 minutes, add about 20 grams of lemon juice and cook until thickened

  5. Boil the glass bottle in water to sterilize it, then remove it to drain it

  6. After warming, bottle, tighten the cap and place upside down
