Steps
-
Cut the sweet potatoes into cubes, chop the orange peel (it’s better to replace the orange peel with orange peel, or chives will also work), white sugar (forget to shoot)
-
Fry the sweet potatoes in oil until cooked and set aside
-
Pour out the oil, put 1/3 of the bowl of water to boil, add an appropriate amount of white sugar and simmer over medium-low heat
-
Cook until the sugar melts
-
Add the orange peel and continue to cook the syrup
-
Until the bubbles become larger and the syrup becomes thicker. Then turn off the heat and pour in the sweet potatoes and stir-fry quickly so that each piece of sweet potato is coated with syrup. When the temperature slowly drops, the syrup will slowly form icing sugar
-
Plate and eat! The sweetness of sweet potatoes is accompanied by the fragrance of orange peel, which is both delicious and appetizing.
-
You can also replace the orange peel with orange peel or chives!
-
Pair it with a cup of hot tea
