Strawberry Pancake

Strawberry Pancake

Overview

I have always loved the pancake dessert. The soft custard is wrapped in silky cream and fresh fruit. Just thinking about it makes me drool. The key is that the operation is very simple, no oven is required and no special materials are required. In fact, mango and durian fillings would taste better. Unfortunately, now in the United States, it is difficult to buy durian, and mangoes are super unpalatable. Strawberries are not bad, and the refrigerator is always stocked with fruits.

  2. eggs, 80g cake flour, 35g caster sugar, put them all into a clean basin

  3. First add half of the milk and stir it into a paste, then add an appropriate amount of milk according to the consistency

  4. Melt the butter in the microwave, add the milk paste and stir evenly

  5. Strain the milk paste. The final milk paste is a relatively viscous liquid, similar to the consistency of Nutrition Express

  6. On low heat, add butter to the pan. I don’t like it to be too oily, so I use kitchen paper to absorb the excess butter. For the next egg cake, just use the oily kitchen paper to wipe the bottom of the pan

  7. The omelette pan I used is non-stick and the right size. I made small pancakes one bite at a time. This is half a spoonful of milk paste for one cake

  8. Very low heat, add a lid to moisturize, make the crust cook faster and the bottom of the cake will not be hard

    Strawberry Pancake step 8
  9. It would be nice to have a lot of little bulges like this

  10. Be careful when taking it out. Spread it out to cool before folding it up, otherwise they will stick together

  11. The thickness of the pie crust is good if you can vaguely see your fingers when holding it like this

    Strawberry Pancake step 11
  12. While you are frying the pancake crust, you can prepare the filling. Whip the light cream and sugar until it is eighty-nine minutes, cut the strawberries into cubes, and chop the leftovers into cubes

    Strawberry Pancake step 12
  13. Put some cream on the cool pie crust, put a piece of strawberry, and put some cream on top

    Strawberry Pancake step 13
  14. Wrap both sides like folding a quilt, and then press two marks on the other two sides, just like folding dried tofu during military training. Then fold it into squares, turn it over and let it rest for a few minutes to finalize the shape

    Strawberry Pancake step 14
  15. Wrap into cubes in the same way

  16. The whole strawberries are cut beautifully, and the crushed strawberry filling tastes good too

  17. The pie crust I made is small enough to fit in one bite. I cut it just for taking pictures, haha
