Overview

In Tongtong's world, there are big sweet watermelons in summer. For me, there is no summer without peaches. Longquan Mountain in Chengdu is one of the four major peach producing areas in my country. Every summer, the streets and alleys of Chengdu are filled with peaches. Ever since I made canned yellow peaches, I fell in love with processing the peaches myself. I can eat them as I go. I can eat them with zero additives. I boil the peaches into syrup and the pulp can be eaten directly. The syrup can be used to make various DIY drinks. The super girly color makes my mood better and retains the taste of summer!

Steps

  1. Add salt to the peaches and scrub them vigorously to clean and remove the fuzz on the skin. Try to choose harder peaches and red skin.

  2. Peel and cut into pieces, keeping the peel.

  3. Add water and sugar to a small pot and heat to melt, then add peaches and peel.

  4. Add the juice of half a lemon and simmer over medium heat for 15 minutes, so as not to overcook.

  5. Pick out the peach skin, put the peaches and syrup into a bottle that has been sterilized in advance, cover it while it is hot, cool and store it in the refrigerator.

  6. Eat the pulp directly and drink the syrup mixed with water.
