Paoyu is Xianju's iconic snack. It is one of the eight traditional dishes and one of the must-have New Year products. It is fried with eggs and flour. Before the New Year, every household will fry more or less paobao. It is best to eat it while it is hot. There is often some leftover. You can fry it again or make soup.
