Steps
-
Wash the dried cranberries, add water and fine sugar, and fry in a non-stick pan over low heat. You can also put it directly into the bread machine and select the jam making program
-
Stir-fry the dried cranberries until soft, mash them slightly with a wooden spatula, add corn starch and stir-fry until thick, turn off the heat and let cool and set aside
-
Cut two sheets of puff pastry and prepare matching molds. I used regular cookie cutters and vegetable cutters
-
Take the same two patterns and carve a hollow pattern in the middle of one of them, which is the top piece. Place the cranberry jam on the bottom slice
-
Cover the lower piece with the upper piece, position a fork at the four corners and press it along the edge. You can also press it with your hands to help it stick. Don’t throw away any leftover scraps
-
Place in the middle rack of the preheated oven, turn the heat up and down, and bake at 170 degrees for about 10 minutes. The specific time depends on the edge of the pastry being slightly yellow, then the puff pastry is completely ready
