Pork Ribs with Black Bean Sauce

First wash the ribs, chop them into pieces, put them in a larger vessel and wait for later use.

Cut green onions into finely chopped green onions.

Garlic, tempeh, star anise. The portion size is clear at a glance.

Mix the star anise beans and garlic on the cutting board. Cut and pound into very fine particles.

Just pound it until the effect is almost as shown in the picture.

Add the mashed garlic, star anise and black bean sauce to the ribs, add a little peanut oil and a spoonful of oyster sauce.

Add two spoons of dark soy sauce

Add three spoons of light soy sauce.

Add a little salt and start to stir slowly, stir and let it sit for about 5 minutes to let it marinate.

Marinate for about 5 minutes, add a small amount of cornstarch (starch) and stir.

After stirring, place the raw pork ribs on a plate. Turn on the heat and when the water is almost boiling, put it into the pot for steaming.

Cover and steam for 10 to 15 minutes, depending on the amount. If the amount is small, the steaming time will be shorter. On the contrary, it can be longer.

My pork ribs were steamed for exactly 14 minutes. I added a small amount of chopped green onion and turned off the heat. Tastes good 😊.
