Peel and slice the potatoes and steam them in a steamer until they are soft, then take them out and mash them into a puree.

Cut bacon and onions into small cubes, blanch corn kernels and pea kernels in a pot of boiling water, drain and set aside,

Pour a little oil into the pot, add diced onions and bacon and stir-fry until fragrant.
