Homemade tomato sauce for decorating flowers
Overview
When making platters, we often use jam for drawing lines, dots and other decorations. However, the jams we buy and the jams made from our common jam recipes are all very large, and it is easy to block the outlet when put in a decorating bag, and it is difficult to squeeze out and decorate with lines. So after several attempts, Guozi made several kinds of homemade jams. This recipe focuses on introducing the making of tomato sauce, hoping to help friends who often make platters.

Steps
-
Cut the washed tomatoes into crosses with a knife, put them in a pot of boiling water and simmer for about three to four minutes until the crosses bloom, take them out and let them cool
-
Peel off the skin of the tomatoes, be sure to peel them very cleanly, scoop out the green flesh from the long stems of the tomatoes, remove any immature, green seeds in the tomatoes, cut them into large pieces, and grind them up in a blender.
-
Pour the minced tomato juice into a bowl and add sugar that suits your taste. The 120 grams in this recipe is just a reference number. If you are afraid of getting fat and want to lose weight, you can replace the soft white sugar with the same amount of xylitol, seal it with plastic wrap and put it in the refrigerator for half a day to pickle the fructose in the tomatoes
-
Pour the sugar-pickled tomato juice into the pot, bring to a boil and then reduce to low heat. If you feel there is less sugar, you can add some more
-
Cook until it bubbles and becomes thicker, stir it with a spatula from time to time to avoid sticking
-
Simmer until it becomes thick and resembles a “sauce”. Squeeze in an appropriate amount of lemon juice and continue to simmer for three to four minutes
-
Let it cool and put it into a bottle that has been sterilized and dried with boiling water in advance. Put it in the refrigerator. If needed, take a little bit and put it into a piping bag. Cut a small opening in the piping bag and you can decorate the lines.

The same method is used to make other jams. First break it with a mixer, marinate it with sugar for a few hours, then put it in a pot to make the jam, add lemon juice and continue to simmer it. This picture is of mulberry sauce
