How to cook braised pork at home

Wash the pork belly and cut into pieces according to your preference, mine is about 5x1cm.

Cut green onions into sections.

Slice ginger.

Put the pork belly into a pot with cold water, boil until the water boils, remove and wash away the floating residue.

Add a small amount of oil to the pan and fry the pork belly until both sides are slightly browned and set aside.

Prepare a casserole, place ginger slices on the bottom of the pot and green onions on top.

Place the fried pork belly into the casserole.

Heat the water until the meat is just covered, add half a bowl of cooking wine, half a bowl of dark soy sauce, a bowl of light soy sauce (condiment bowl), appropriate amount of rock sugar, cover and simmer for an hour.

Open the lid, pick out the onion and ginger, sprinkle with appropriate amount of salt, and simmer for another ten minutes.

Reduce the juice over high heat and remove from the pot.
