Brown sugar, garlic

Brown sugar, garlic

Overview

This sugar garlic was pickled when the new garlic came on the market. The picture of the finished product was taken after it had been pickled for 2 months. At that time, it felt like the season had passed and it had not been released. Participating in the food competition, I feel that this recipe needs to be posted so that friends who like sweet garlic can save it in advance and make some by themselves when the new garlic comes out tomorrow. My family's sugar garlic is a family recipe, and friends all say it's delicious after eating it. There are three recipes: brown sugar, white sugar and rock sugar plus honey. This brown sugar recipe has a flavor that I prefer. It is not only delicious in color, but also tastes good, and the texture is also very good. Choose brown sugar that is yellowish in color and lighter in color. The color of the finished product will look better. Dark brown sugar can also be used. The taste is basically the same, but the color will be darker.

  1. For fresh garlic that has just been put on the market, choose one with a complete appearance and no damage, and the garlic braid is relatively long, so that the peeled garlic will be clean

  4. Finally, cut off the root part, leaving a layer of outer layer. To make it cleaner, peel it off as well. This layer does not need to be peeled off. I like to peel them all off

  5. Peel the garlic completely and dry it in a ventilated place for about 2 hours

  10. Cover and marinate. It will be ready to eat in about 20 days, but it will be a little spicy. The longer you marinate it, the less spicy it will become.
