Wash chicken feet and pork bones with salt. Remove the pits from the red dates.

Papaya (papaya for soup needs to be raw). Use a knife to prick the melon body to remove the pistil

Add the cold water to the pork bones, chicken feet, red dates and ginger slices and bring to a boil over high heat.

Wash and peel chestnuts

After the soup has been simmering for an hour, cut the papaya and put it in the soup and continue to simmer for fifteen minutes.

Add chestnuts and simmer over high heat for fifteen minutes, then add salt
