Spicy Pollack Shreds
Overview
This is a side dish with a strong Korean flavor. The ingredients come from Yanbian’s specialty dried pollack, and are paired with Korean spicy sauce. The finished dish is bright red in color, moderately sweet and salty, full of spiciness, and has a soft yet tough texture. It is not only a delicacy to accompany meals, but also a good companion for drinking.

Soak the dried pollack in warm water for about ten seconds

Take it out and squeeze out the water

Tear off the flesh part of the fish first, not the skin

Then tear into small strips

Add Korean chili sauce

Pour salad oil into the pot, add scallions and fry until fragrant, then pour on top of the shredded fish.
