Brown sugar apple buns
Overview
The apple filling used in the bread in this article is the same as the brown sugar apple filling in the previous blog. The bread is still made in the old-fashioned way. The bread is very soft and the apple filling is sour and sweet. I want to eat it again, but the shape is not good

-
Put the starter dough ingredients (120g flour, 96g water, 4g yeast, 2g salt, 20g sugar) in the bread machine, mix evenly, and ferment 2.5 times in size
-
Add the main ingredients (except butter) to the fermented starter dough
-
Mix the main ingredients until smooth and then add butter
-
Stir all the ingredients until a film forms
-
Ferment again to 2.5 times the size
-
Start the bread machine again and mix the risen dough for 3 minutes to release the gas, then let it sit for 30 minutes
-
Take out the dough and divide it into 6 equal parts, let it rest for 10 minutes
-
Roll the relaxed dough into a rectangular shape and cut into strips on both sides
-
Put apple filling in the middle
-
Cross-fold the strips on both sides, and tuck the ends into the bread strips
-
Place the dough in a baking pan and let it ferment in a warm and humid place
-
The dough needs to be fermented until it doubles in size, and the surface is coated with egg liquid
-
Bake in the oven at 180 degrees for about 15 minutes
-
Let cool and serve immediately
