Prepare the required ingredients, tomatoes, onions, garlic

Peel the tomatoes (scald with boiling water to make peeling easier) and cut into small dices. Cut the garlic into minced garlic and the onions into small dices and set aside

Add oil to the pot and heat over low heat until it is hot

Pour in the onion and sauté over low heat until fragrant

Add tomatoes over medium heat and stir-fry until juices come out

After the juice is released, add sugar

Add salt, cover the pot and continue to simmer over low heat

Simmer for 10 to 15 minutes until tomatoes are soft, add minced garlic and stir-fry

After the juice is reduced, add thirteen spices (our family doesn’t like the taste of pizza grass, so I used Chinese spices instead)

Put it into an airtight bowl and refrigerate it for 7 to 10 days (but eat it as soon as possible)
