Cake version of waffles
Overview
Some time ago, I participated in an event where everyone is a gourmet. I posted recipes every day, took photos and edited recipes, and typed words every day. My arms were so tired, O(∩_∩)O haha~. So I've been lazy for a few days recently and allowed myself to rest and relax. Today I am fully resurrected, so I will continue to post. This is my first time making waffles today. I just bought a waffle mold and couldn’t wait to make them after I received them. The first experience needs to be summarized, but the taste is still good. I will also share my little experience in making it with you. The recipe basically follows the original recipe, except that the amount of sugar is reduced a bit, but the effect is still good and the taste is pretty good. Personally I think the sweetness is enough.

Ingredients
Steps
-
Melt the butter in advance, add the egg yolks and mix thoroughly
-
Pour in milk and 10 grams of sugar
-
Stir thoroughly
-
Sift in low-gluten flour
-
Stir into egg yolk paste
-
Put the egg whites into an oil-free and water-free basin, beat at low speed until large bubbles form, then add about 10 grams of sugar
-
Stir until foamy and then add about 15 grams of sugar
-
When the foam becomes fine, add the last remaining 15 grams of sugar and continue beating at high speed
-
When beating until a curved triangle forms, turn to low speed and beat a little
-
Take about 1/3 of the meringue and egg yolk paste and mix evenly
-
Pour into remaining meringue
-
Mix evenly by stirring
-
Preheat the mold 2 minutes in advance, then brush it with a layer of oil and pour in an appropriate amount of cake batter
-
Cover the mold, bake over medium-low heat for about 2 minutes on one side. The electric ceramic stove I used, this mold is suitable for the heating area. It uses 300 firepower, which is small and medium-sized, and the firepower is just right. Turn frequently when baking to prevent burning. You can also open it to see the situation. Time and firepower must be controlled flexibly.
-
When the waffles were baked, the first one was a little less mushy and the mold was not fully filled
-
When the paste is poured to this extent, the finished product can fill the mold.
-
Baked waffles can be eaten with fruit, cream, yogurt, etc. I made it for the first time today, and simply paired it with some strawberries.
