Bird's Nest with Rock Sugar and Snow Pear

Prepare a bird's nest

Soak in pure water or cold boiled water for about 4 hours

You can change the water several times during the soaking period

After soaking for two hours, you can tear the bird's nest apart according to the texture and continue soaking (you can also tear the bird's nest apart after it is completely soaked)

After soaking, rinse repeatedly several times to remove fine impurities and drain the water for later use (usually there is no white core or a slight white core to judge whether the hair is completely soaked)

Peel the pear and cut into cubes (size according to personal preference)

Put the previously drained bird's nest into a stew pot and add an appropriate amount of water (the water should not be too much to cover the bird's nest by about 1-2 cm). If the Sydney pear is stewed separately, you can add rock sugar to stew it first. If it is stewed with the bird's nest in the same stew pot, add rock sugar 2-5 minutes before taking it out of the pot (it takes about an hour for an electric stew pot)

You can also put it in a pot with water and cover it with a lid to steam and stew. If you use a pot at home, just bring it to a boil over high heat and simmer over low heat for about 15-20 minutes. If you stew for too long, the water will easily dissolve

If the bird's nest and pear are stewed separately, if the stewed bird's nest is too much, you can put it in a sealed glass bottle and store it in the refrigerator for about a week
