Smiley egg custard
Overview
This recipe is really simple. It is steamed egg custard with milk, steamed and then topped with cut seaweed slices and ham sausage slices. It is very suitable for making breakfast for babies. I originally wanted to post a smiley face of a little girl, but after I posted it, it looked more and more like a little boy. If you look closely, it looks quite handsome! Look at me, look at me again, and I will eat you up^_^

Steps
-
Prepare the raw materials: two eggs, one carton of milk, one ham sausage (you can’t use up one, just cut it into one piece!), and two pieces of seaweed.
-
Crack the eggs into a bowl and beat them with a whisk until there are fine foams. It is basically evenly beaten.
-
Cut the milk and pour into the beaten eggs.
-
Add a small amount of salt and stir with a whisk until the milk and egg liquid are perfectly combined.
-
Strain the beaten egg mixture through a sieve into a bowl.
-
Seal a layer of plastic wrap around the mouth of the bowl.
-
Add cold water to the steamer and put a bowl sealed with plastic wrap. Bring the water to a boil over high heat and then turn to low heat to steam. The steaming time will depend on the amount of egg liquid.
-
During the process of steaming the egg custard, you can start to use scissors to cut the shape. Cut the edge of the first piece of seaweed into an oval. For details, refer to the radius of the steamed egg custard bowl. Then you can use the remaining seaweed to cut out the doll's eyebrows, eyes and mouth. Peel the ham sausage, cut it into a thin slice, and trim it into a nose shape with scissors. The technology is limited, and the effect is almost the same.
-
Take out the steamed egg custard.
-
When you remove the plastic wrap, you can see that the custard is very tender, and most importantly, the surface is very smooth.
-
I found that the straight bangs were a bit silly, so I trimmed them with scissors and attached them to the surface of the custard.
-
Attach the doll's eyebrows, eyes, nose and mouth under the bangs and you're done. It's pretty simple.
