After the dough is fermented, the dough will be in a honeycomb shape. Place it on the chopping board and knead with 2.5g of alkaline flour (+alkaline flour is to prevent the steamed buns from becoming sour)
-
Knead the dough until it becomes soft and smooth, and then shape it into a ball as big as your palm
-
Roll the dough into a round shape and seal it in the palm of your hand
-
Knead well
-
Add water to the pot and brush the basket with oil
-
Put it in the steamer and let it rise for 20 minutes (I started steaming it because I was in a hurry today). After the water boils, steam it over medium-high heat for 20 minutes, then simmer for 5 minutes and uncover it.
