Homemade red bean paste
Overview
One day I was going to make the cold cake I had eaten in Xi'an, which contained bean paste. However, we didn't see ready-made bean paste for sale here, so we decided to make it ourselves and try it. Unexpectedly, it was a success

Ingredients
Steps
-
Remove the foreign beans and stones from the red beans and soak them for a few hours in advance. I soaked them for four hours and they are almost soft. Then put it into the pressure cooker and press it until the beans are as high as two knuckles at the top of the water. Put the steam on and press for 20 minutes
-
Put it into a blender and puree it into a puree. The texture is almost the same as peeling
-
Pour into a stainless steel pot (never use iron or aluminum pots, I heard there will be an iron smell and discoloration)
-
Add appropriate amounts of brown sugar and white sugar, you can taste the sweetness yourself. Dry the water over low heat. You can add a little peanut oil. I didn’t add it because I was afraid of getting tired
-
After the water is dried, you can put it in the pot and shape it. It was too late when I made it and I was too lazy to take out the mold. I just balled it up and put it in the refrigerator. It tasted really good and was very healthy.
